So hard to believe how much time has passed since this sweet puppy fell in front of my car. I could not believe that 200+ ticks and red mange could be so bad, then parvo (she is quite a fighter) and then the bowel inception. She is our baby!

Our Girl is still going strong and loving believe it or not her little friend...Mattie was very gentle and under adult supervision while sitting on Maggy. She loves him so and was not hurt or upset.

We almost lost our Girl!

Maggy had an inception of her intestine. She had to have emergency surgery. Thank God that the area turned pink after the vet untangled it. They said it was miraculous that her intestine was not severely damaged and that she would be fine. They can't promise me that it won't happen again but I watch her like a hawk.

Update on Maggy

She is doing well. Her hair has grown in and other than periodic stress she is coping with her mange. It comes and goes.
Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers,
Debi and Maggy

Day 105

Maggy has really changed. She started liquid ivermectin and the changes were instant. After her first dose of ivermectin, within 45 minutes, she was playing like she had never played before. We think that first dose reduced her itching somewhat and she was able to feel a slight bit better and she could focus her energy on the important stuff playing. With in the first week she was a new dog. We had no idea she would have the energy and playfulness that she has. I truly believe she is still a pup or at least been ill all of her life and now has discovered that she can play. Like a baby she laid on her back (unbelievable as she hated that before) and put her big feet up and stared at them and playfully bit at them. She still has hair issues but she is wonderful.
